Thinking of getting old electric car, HPI RS4 Pro 2

Changing the shock mount positions will change both the height and the leverage of the shocks which would also change the handling characteristics.
You should be able to raise the height by adding in preload clips. Do you have any you can use?

Just ordered a different Lipo battery yesterday...Turnigy 3S 3000mah 60C heavy duty, that is only 22 mm high so it should fit nicely. We will see when it comes! Also ordered an Airtronics MX-V radio system which will be much better than the Skyion AM 27 mhz radio I have in there now that I took from my CEN mini madness

The new Lipo 3S battery came yesterday and clearance is fine! Gotta figure out a new way to mount the battery, the wires come out of the corner instead of the middle, so I'll have to find a way to route the wires through the battery holders.
Tonight (still used the NiMH battery) a small section of the chassis broke, not really a big deal as long as I get the battery holders to work. I was using Velcro.

Tech Regular
My buddy uses the nano - tech shorties and they work fine. Just gotta glue some foam blocks to the chassis to keep it from sliding around.

Success with the mounting of the 3S Lipo pack and the HPI stick battery holders. I had to modify one of the holders by cutting some plastic off, since the wires on the Lipo battery come out on the side instead of the center. Picture to come soon.
Anyway, now with the 3S lipo, it is insanely fast, I'm estimating around 60 mph...still would like to get a speed gun.
However, I need to adjust the handling of at least the front. At those speeds, I can barely turn. Any suggestions on what to adjust?

I may be selling this. It's fun, but I'm just not sure if I'll have a lot of time to enjoy it.
Anyone interested? I'll be listing it in the FS forum.
HPI RS4 PRO 2
Duratrax Onyx brushless motor and ESC, 3930kv 2 pole
Turnigy Heavy Duty 3s Lipo, 3000mah, 60C constant, 120C burst
Airtronics MX-V 2.4 ghz radio system with waterproof receiver (just a week old).
Robinson racing top pulley
original wheels with slicks, they are the ones I've been using to run so they are beat up, and it comes with HPI 5 spoke and V groove tires that are in mint condition and have never been run.
Extra set of lower control arms BNIB are included, as well as extra set screws for the motor pinion.
Fully painted body
All boxes included.
I'd be asking $400

+1 to that.
I raced one from new for 2 seasons when they first came out.
I didn't break anything but make sure if you're using the stick pack holders that nothing hits them or I see the chassis breaking possibly.
Probably safer in that area to use battery tape.
