So Cal Dirt Lake Elsinore area, CA
Hey guys my track is now getting in the works! no progress on any aspects of the track yet but i have room for 2 the track will be a club track and you have to be a member to race here, spectators are only allowed on weekends in certain areas. We currently dont have power run to the bottom of the property so we might have to run the chargers ect off a little generator.
we currently need wood and cash donations. You can help out at the track by cleaning and building the track to get a free 1 month membership card.
All members will get a lenyard that says the track name printed on it and some type of holster will hang from it to hold your membership card, this will be required to be shown when asked, if you lose it there will be a $5.00 charge to replace the membership pass and the lenyard.
for more info please shoot an email to [email protected] i will shoot you all updates and progress to your email

Nice piece of land you have there. No doubt people will show once things are up and running. Best of luck.

So, what exactly are you planning on doing with this track? Bashing or racing? If racing, how serious are you about holding races at this track? How much $$$ do you plan on investing in the track and facilities in order to get it competitive with ARC, Revelation, and Hemet RC Park?
Keep in mind that in order to get a track up to par to even consider competing with the other very close "local" tracks, be prepared to spend a ton of cash. Are you going to build a drivers stand? What about a timing system? Pit tables? Power? Toilets? Lights? Have you asked the city about permits and zoning?
RPS in Ontario unsuccessfully tried to put a track together but ran into all sorts of zoning and permitting issues and also appeared to suffer from a serious lack of funds.

keep it simple in the begining.
Bash track with no rules set in stone. And a race track when the members have the time to make one. So lets make up the rules as we go and some will even be on a daily basses. why try to compete. lets get back to the vibe were we all just muck about with the property. Stand in the back of our pickups or bring a 6' stepladder. Bring an ice-chest, lawn-chairs, and your buggy. Yea, there will be times when it gets taken over by a bunch of drunk guys... We will address that when it happens and move on. But the real issue is when some kids parent attempts to sue the owner of the property for the bruised ankle the kid got when marshaling. This is the only real concern. Let's be proactive and know that the person that is going to be responsible for this insurance police will be compensated with our membership fee and day use fee. The $25 yearly membership fee (subject to change with out notice) will keep 10 drunk guys from crashing our track and a $10 day fee (also subject to change) is just fair. So let's keep it simple and well insured.
