Update... Holy freaking cow! My hot lap was 1.1 seconds faster than my previous with the SC6 & 1.3 faster than the DESC210. My 10 lap average was 1.5 faster per lap. Running kit setup except grey front springs. Unbelievable!!

I did experience the nose down air flight on the triple some times but not always. I had the best luck easing off the throttle and getting right back on it at the face of the jump.

I also traction rolled a few times but I feel a slight roll center change will fix that.

Overall, I couldn't have been anymore pleased. This is my favorite 5 series vehicle yet.

Finally ordered my SC5M yesterday - lets hope AE America ships some of them to Europe cause they're the reason why Thundertiger Europe hasn't got any at the moment according to Thundertiger Europe.

I hope I get mine quick, so excited for the build after my B5 went together so well

Your previous post says you went with the 4 gear, I built mine 3 gear from the get go and can't get it to traction roll or break out to the point I can't reel it back in with throttle, It is an amazing truck. Flies amazing too.

Your avatar says otherwise j/k couldn't resist... Don't worry I'm going to try 3 gear very soon.

I like the 3 gear better.

I started converting to 3 gear but stopped. My diff assembly seems to have excessive end play in the 3 gear case. I measured about .018" travel on the outdrives. Is there some shims I should have bought or is this acceptable?

Yeah, but these platforms need front sway bars. I've never understood why these manufacturers haven't figured this out. I'm not even sure JConcepts is even still manufacturing their front sway for the SC10 anymore.

It helps keep body roll down and the truck flat in the corners.

Ok to the Great Minds here on this Forum. I just built my first kit a SC5M. My Question is how do I know if I have the Diff screw tight or loose enough for the rear end. Something just does not feel rt in the back end after I put on the Slipper. HELP Please.
