yes..they will fit...but I think they are on the short side...which may effect the handling.

what did you pay oz for it?
I'd be that other dude

The car is awesome, foam or rubber it just "works". There really is little need to purchase any hop-ups for it. I suggest people just build it to kit settings & run it, you will be amazed by how dialled the car is. The most prominent trait the car seems to exhibit out of the box is steering, ie it has a tonne of it, which is awesome, but at the same time it is a very very planted, stable car.

Also im very impressed by its durability. It was given a tough time at a recent race meet & came off with flying colours, no broken parts, no damaged gears, no binding drivetrain.

When you guys finally get some, my number 1 suggestion is build it to the box set up & try it, its a fantastic starting point, oh, & get some 1.2mm sway bars (gold).

I ordered a diff from R10 so when I get mine it's getting a diff from the get go. I may epoxy the oneway togehter and use it as a spoo. Our race series here in FL doesn't allow oneways anymore.

Diff Balls - does the kit use 1/8" or 3/32" sizes? Are they used on the spur as well? It looks like most of the HPI spurs use the 1/8" size, but without the kit I wouldn't be sure about the differentials.

Found these Hi-grade ceramic diff balls at half the price for HPI.
$10.00 for 12 3/32" (2.4mm) - 5/64" (2MM)

http://rc4less.safeshopper.com/22/446.htm?542

I've got couple sets already...
rc4less has one of the best prices and very easy to deal with.

The officials saw that with out one ways the racing would be "closer" and that there would be less wrecks. We voted on it and it was approved, we will have an other review of the rules halfway trough the season and see how it's working. They where also using the Reedy race as a model for the rule.

Default R&D cafe

aparently MIP cant supply the nesesary ammounts so they are changin the universals, as a side note, the MIP bones are identical to the TC3/XXS ones so if you need a spare one and don't mind running adifferent color bone try those.

Here is the translated statement from HPI Japan:

We informed already on HP, but from the kit of February production
amount in Pro4 standard the universal shaft which is equipped from MIP
make CVD alteration to those of original design. Why selling, although
it is prompt, doing specification alteration? With you think the doubt
which is said that also the one which leans comes, but we would like
to explain with the latest R&D coffee this specification concerning
the reason alteration.

This time the universal shaft it came to the point of from MIP make
alteration in those of original design, the biggest reason, when MIP
make CVD being necessary, is because it becomes difficult to sell
necessary number. Already the aluminum bone of the spare part absence
of stock state continuously the time, has put great annoyance on the
customer. As known, it imports MIP make CVD from USA. Because of that
time is required for transport. Furthermore rather than from order to
the delivered item arranging in the Japanese country, many times are
required. Because the MIP corporation has managed CVD of many
manufacturers, perhaps there is a circumstance where production is not
in time. It was not possible above this to continue, the circumstance
which cannot deliver the product which the customer desires at a
suitable time stabilized and it had decided to produce the universal
shaft of the original design which can supply in the Japanese country.

There is no big difference in CVD of MIP make and efficiency of the
universal shaft of original design. It sells also the bone of the
steel make whose request from the customer is many simultaneously. The
bone of the aluminum belongs to one for race/lace in the kit, but the
aluminum make bone it is easy bending with crash is certain.
Furthermore as for usual practice the steel make bone or only the
front the steel make bone etc. various it reaches the point where it
can correspond to the needs of the customer.

Being not to be please acknowledge the compatibility of the part in
the universal shaft of MIP make CVD and original design.

As for MIP make CVD as for sale being to keep continuing, it is the
relieved ‚_ in the future as an option part, it is.

In the future Pro4 furthermore keeps recommending development. This
year world championship is held. The member of Team HPI which begins
the field player aiming toward the victory of earnest wish, has
already done the test at the many places of the world. Please expect
to the future of Pro4. And Pro4, we ask the HPI product may even from
this.
