I have done this mod myself. All the things these guys are saying to do with changing the shock tower is not nesecary. All you need is a MBX6T body and the 8t 2.0 body posts. it is really easy and looks great

i dint think, i would need the 2.0 shock towers to begin with really.
that whould, be too much money getting the towers and the shocks.

here you go it, doesnt look too high he used the lowest hole on the rear stock 1.0 tower, and on the front i think he left that body post where it was. the front is a 1.0 shock tower also

there the mbx6t bulldog bodies.

Yeah that looks fine. I see that he used only 1 hole for the body mounts. This means that they will be able to rotate some. Not sure that would really matter because they'll be held by the body. I would personally drill another hole for the little peg on the posts to sit in the way they were intended. Wouldn't be too hard to drill a couple holes.

so to make a 1.5 i need the 2.0 chassis, both 2.0 towers and the body mounts. the truggy is going to be brushless so the losi conversion kit correct me if im wrong comes with radio tray.

so re-cap

chassis ,both towers and both body mounts ?

will all the cvds work with the longer chassis ?

na to make it, a 1.5 just get the 2.0 t chassis and the 2.0 t rear center shaft you dont, have to get the 2.0 t shock towers and arms etc.
you will need, the 2.0 front and rear body mounts to use the flatbed truggy bodys use a mbx6t bulldog body you just have to line up the body holes since it doesnt have holes in it.

just ask deadman his screename is on this tread.
he will tell you right.

i was going, to get the 2.0 t chassis but i got a great deal on a 1.0 t flex chassis.

What gains are there in doing the 1.5 conversion other than being able to run 2.0 bodies.

well you will, get more stabity for sure more traction also whould be my guess
i have heard, that you will lose some steering and it will have more more push so you will have to work on the setup on the rear end.

get the 2.0 t flex tech chassis by the way.

If you want to do it the right way, yeah that's what you need along with a 2.0 center rear CVD. You COULD do it without the 2.0 towers, but it is not the proper way.

Advantages will be many over the 1.0 chassis, however it will NOT handle like a 2.0. For that you need the suspension package as well. BTW they do sell 2.0 truggies.

Well I'm in this truggy for 140 so if I spend 60 making it a 1.5 and gain some performance and make it easier to use a 2.0 body.
