Considering when you go their website and to their bodies and their camaro and mustang bodies arent even listed for purchase, or even on the downloadable PDF of all their bodies......yeah would make sales numbers low. Personally I dont like the quality of their body designs. No where near the HPI bodies. More like the Parma

Id be happy seeing the 70 but Id much rather have the 68. If it was made like the HPI 68 camaro with the firebird changes (grill and tail lights along with a few minor other accents) it wold be perfect. I wouldnt think it would be hard especially for HPI since they could start their mold with the mold for the camaro and make the minor changes.
The 1:1 67-69 Camaro and Firebird were basically Identical and could interchange many parts. I had a 69 Firebird and my dad had a 68 Camaro we restored at same time.

So if the '68 Camaro and '68 Firebird were basically identical, then why don't you just take a HPI '68 Camaro and paint it to be a Firebird?

No but from looking at their other bodies, that is how I imagined it. It will take someone like HPI or Jconcepts to make a pleasing accurate body. Only issue I can see is if they have to get rights to it since Pontiac is no more. But being they were a subsidiary of GM it is probably still possible

Since HPI already produces 3 other Pontiac bodies (#7447 - 1994 Pontiac Trans Am, #17000 - 1967 Pontiac GTO Body (for the Savage MT), and the #107201 - 1978 Pontiac Firebird) I don't think they would have an issue with getting the rights to make a VTA-Era Pontiac body.

Thats what I was thinking Rob. Where is ol Johnny Socko anyway? That is some nice work right there.
I think there is money in making lexan Louvers and little side window convers for Mustangs and Hood scoops and various sized NACA ducts. Interior trays and Roll cages and little fire Extinguishers.
