Hi all, can some one tell me what does tamiya front one way direct drive means. I just bought a tamiya front one way for my tb04 (non pro) and the instruction says insert 2 pins to make it direct drive. Please tell me what does it mean. Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry as I just new into this hobby. If I don't insert these 2 pins. It will work as front one way. Won't the cup drop out? Please be so kind to advise again. Just want to be sure as I cannot understand how it work. Before I install it into the front gear box.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I ordered mine from my LHS already. Installed fresh plastic one until the DB-02 one arrives. Place 0.6mm shim per miter gear. Hope these plastics one last till my steel one arrives..

Hi, I stripped already 2 sets of plastic miter gear. Ordered DB-02 gear is still a month away. I already shimmed my 2 sets of miter gear very little play. Why is still striped, any comments. The first set last at least 6 months. The second set last less than 3mins even with proper shimmed. Hope some one can help correct my problem. Thanks

Can u post a pic about this side to side movement. I added 0.6 shim per side to ensure very little play. Still my new miter plastic gear stripped under 3mins. The previous set without shim lasted 6 months. The only new change was the front one way. But it's so far away will it affect the miter gears. Thanks

Everytime I order from banzai they are out of stock, by the time they tell me and I get my refund they will be out of stock everywhere else too. It will cost $280AUD shipped from rcmart and $240AUD shipped from stella, so I think I will get one from the latter

Have placed multiple orders in the past 3 years and never had a problem with Banzai.

Pricing for the US is looking like this:

Stella $190 +$ 40 shipping = $230
Banzai $197 + $38 shipping = $235 (banzai's prices are in yen and fluctuate with exchange rate)

Towerhobbies $299 - $45 (tower club members) $254 (shipping is free but stock is estimated for late July)
