Default strange question about screw size

what size is the set screw the is in the end of an OS pipe. the screw i am looking for is the screw that secures the pipe wire at the end of the pipe

Not sure about OS. Most use a 4mm set screw. Some use an even bigger one, 5mm I think.

3mm is pretty small for a pipe mount, 4mm is the smallest I have seen and it is most likely 5mm.

Not a team driver, I cant take any of that credit.
I have a 2060 on my buggy and the setscrew takes a 2.0mm hex driver, in general most of your rc fasteners that take a 2.0mm driver are 3mm in thread diameter, with the exception of a socket head cap screw. They take a 2.5mm driver, along with all the 4mm flat socket screws on the bottom of your chassis.

3mm set screws use 1.5mm drivers, 4mm set screws use 2mm, 5mm set screws use 2.5mm.

You may be right, those tiny set screws get me sometimes. I will double check when I get to the house. Too many numbers going through my head at work.
