Wow Hawk498 I just got teary-eyed. That means alot to me. I'm pretty sure you can buy direct through Orion/Kyosho. I'll double check come Monday for you. If you have any questions regarding this engine I'm here to help. I know they just got some back in stock

Hawk I'm always here to help. As far as the RC Madness race for next year, it's too early to tell. I only race a few times a year. It just so happen that I was able to get that weekend off for the RC Driver race this year.

Hey all, hate to bring up a old thread but I have the same question. I just picked up a non-us spec crf .21 and would like to know what budget pipe works good with this engine. Like any of the ofna pipes. I see some people have used the AE 2035 but every place I see that sells it it doesnt come with a header, what header works with the AE pipe. Will the ofna 053 or 086 work well? What about the losi pipes? I budget pipe, meaning not a $100+ pipe

Default pipe

I have run one with a jp-1 with great results ,would also like to try a jp-3 , you just need to bend the header a littlle to keep the pipe down due to the angle of the rear port on the motor.

The 9886 pipe works well on the CRF .21 engine as well as the 2066. I have found the 9886 does provide better run time though and delivers a more linear power band.

Default Another question about this motor

I just got one of these and the crank shaft has a little play/slop in it. My OS motor doesn't have any give at all is this something that is common with these motors?

Thanks
Rob

This was also asked in the forum, but I found this thread and put it here too.

086 and JP4 work awesome

2035 is a POS on this motor.... absolutely kills the top end.. 2035 and Picco engines dont mix well if you ask me
