Default Body Tear Offs?

has anyone tried to make a clear body tear off that would allow you to instantly clean off your body? I think it done correctly and cheaply it would be kinda cool, you could have a perfectly clean body for almost every race. I got this idea from watching 410 sprint cars and watching the drivers pulling their tear off, off during a particullarly muddy race.

Never seen or heard of it. Just keep the plastic cover on your body when you get it and peel that off after a race. But being serious now. You would have to stash up on a bunch of wraps and put them on your body. That just sounds like more pain to get that to fit on good then just cleaning the body itself.

How about different color tear-offs... that way if you hack someone really bad your pit crew can change your car color so you can be stealthy.

In the long run it would be cheaper to just bring an extra body or two. Paint them the same, drop on the clean shiney one before your main.

I just fill a small bucket with water and a little soap and wipe down my body, wheels, and wing with wet paper towels.

Then I wad the towel up and chuck it at the back of one of the truggy drivers like a giant spitwad and point to a 1/10th scale drivers.

Why put tear offs on your body, when your body itsself actually is a tear off.

I could see this being a good idea for an extremely muddy race, like the World's last year, where you can pull into the pit and have the pit guy pull off a tear-off and eliminate the weight added by the mud....

At the worlds, Pavidis stacked two bodies on top of each other, so the top body could be removed exposing the clean body underneath...

Couldn't you just use cling wrap?? might have to tape it to the underside of the body but I would think this serves the purpose.
