I have one of those for when the power goes out. It's a nice bright light for something that's battery powered, but I'll keep the Ott Light for workbench stuff or at the track. the next thing is the LED lights. The really good ones are kind of expensive right now, but they're getting better.

Get this one from Lowes, or buy direct from Ott. It works with a plug and has a built in rechargeable battery that lasts for 3 hours if the power goes out or there is nothing to plug into. For $35 its worth its weight in gold.

Fry's had I think 3 different sizes total. Fry's is the place to buy ott $29 for the good old black tube light.
