Moving? To 1/8 off-road? Well IMO its more fun to be dirty, in the air, and having to stay on ur lid then goin faster and trying to hug corners for that 1 42nd faster of a second than the other guy.

Are you kidding? AZ is the racing central for off road.

2 hours in any direction for 11 tracks. Plus we get to race all year long. There is no season for us. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday is season all year long.

Were spoiled cause we get to race with pro's just about every week.

Cost of living is terrific. Summer is brutal but your racing so its all good.

Yep 2 of them. I could not imagine living outside of AZ. Years ago I was like the mountains, cactus and desert suck. I didnt know what I really had until I started traveling to a lot of big cities.

Now I cant get enough of AZ. In my opinion its the best place to live when all things are considered. What happened lately isnt the best showing but all in all it really is like living resort style. That's just my opinion though.

One thing he forgot to add about AZ... All the Tracks are Amazing all the time. Whatever you feel like practicing on theres a track around more towards that kind of lay out to get you faster. Most of the people down here are willing to help you whatever way they can to get you to the track too.

2 kids huh thats cool well we have 3 and i was just wondering about the schools. Could you give me some examples on the cost of living. And that shooting don't scare me, it does suck though. But the more you guys keep talking about AZ it is sounding better. I know The Nitro Pit is down there. Well thank you dishsoap and everyone else.

the cost of living is pretty low for the size of the city.

Google some of the suburbs of phoenix

chandler, mesa, tempe, scottsdale(most expensive), glendale, peoria, surprise

Arizona is definitely number 2 in the nation for racing behind so cal, and of course we all know how expensive it is to live there.

If I could afford to move to Cali AND race, that would be prime. Weather is better than AZ.

Yep, I've been here going on 6 years from Cali. I love AZ and the ability to race so much. I'm 15min from The Nitro Pit & 15-20 min from 2 other tracks & within a hr from probably 8-9 others. I live in Surprise AZ and have a daughter that just turned 10. Summers can be a bit brutal but we shoot to San Diego to the beach some weekends or even lake pleasant to take the boat out which is about 20min from my house.

I just want thank all of you for everything I have done some looking around on line about AZ and the prices of homes are really good. As far as CALI goes yeah it is cooler as far as temps go, but don't it rain a lot down there? To be honest I don't want to live in CALI. I will keep doing some more researching. I have 8 months to decide. So I have a little bit of time.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL OF INFO
