I bought the OFNA truggy box, removed everything inside, and stuffed it in my Losi starter box. Use the Losi bulkhead piece as a template to mark the holes for the starter wheel in the OFNA bulkead, drill 2 holes and your done. Now I have a Losi starter box on steroids.

very tough and if I did not travel so much I would have it. It's just big..lol.

That's a single motor, and it is what I use. Never had a problem turning over a motor! That one is direct drive, the wheel is right on the motor shaft. The motor is HUGE, looks like a starter motor off a motorcycle.

That one's nice because you could start your car at the track, then go home and work out with it....

Get a 14.4v lipo with the ofna blue truggy box like slaytanic was saying:
OFN 10244

I think three of these weight the same as the that chrome top ofna box with a gel cell in it.

make sure you pre-heat your engine with a blow dryer/heat gun......you don't want the wear that starting a cold engine will give. I do this for the first gallon.

Rocco is right, the chrome top box isn't for scrawny girlie-men.

Rocco uses the little box.

Yeah, I'll go with a little box over some big, blown out one... I'll let you know how it is!

This is also an open invitation to arm wrestle me any time!

I'd like to see pictures of this too. I burned up my second set of motors on my Losi starter box last Saturday, and after asking around, everyone recommended the OFNA blue truggy box. The only real difference I can see between the two is the 775 motors that come with the OFNA box. I wanted to just buy those motors and put them in my Losi box, but the hobby shop scared me out of it.

That would be a lot more work with drilling the holes to make them fit the Losi bulkhead. Better off buying the motors and the OFNA bulkhead and modifying it like I did. Much easier. I'll post pics as soon as I can. The only thing you have to do is drill the holes to move the wheel up and over towards the center if I can remember. It works awesome. Starts both my 8 and 8T and the truggy had a new motor. I always try and preheat them, but running 2 classes gets hectic. Race, marshall, race, marshall, all day long...

Here's the pictures of the complete Ofna truggy box internals in my Losi 8ight starter box. I removed the screw that holds the wheel in to show where I drilled. I will probably slot it for more adjustment when I get time. I did drill three holes also. I put another screw through the bottom. I wanted a third screw holding the bulkhead from underneath.
