Hopefully someone can answer/solve this one...

My hellfire truggy turns in one direction a lot easier than another and its almost like the turning circle is wider when turning left than it is when turning right. It seems like on or off power, when turning left the car pushes towards understeer. It doesnt do this when turning right and its a lot more noticeable when on power.

I have adjusted the servo end points and checked that the servo is turning the same amount on each side. I've also ensured that the steering links are the same length as well.

Has anyone solved this with the HPI Hellfire?
Is this something that is common amongst nitro truggies/buggies and I'm just going to have to deal with it?

A huge list of things to check would be awesome as I'm stumped on this one, but figure I've forgotten a couple things!

I'm not sure what is going on. Mine turns the same left and right. Check the arm on the steering post that it's not hitting the servo mount. That it is in the right way if you have too grind on it some if needed. If you are using the locking nut on the servo saver adjuster like the SS has you will need to grind the mount some. I do know with the servo and steering links unhooked the steering plate will swing more in one direct. But won't do this with steering links hooked up the hubs and blocks are the stops.

The "fix" for this is the Xray steering plate..
Every Hellfire I have ever checked did this..it's the plate.

Is this because of the geometry of the steering plate or because it rubs against part of the chassis when turning on direction?

And is this the part you're referring to?
