I'd like to know what gears peeps are using with the standard 87t spur also.

I have some 75t and 83t on order but want to run my buggy tomorrow.

Try 87/26 for either motor. I run 83/22 for a 7.5.

IMO I would put the 75 in it, I don't think u will get the 87 to work with the 13.5

75 is best for 13.5. Anything lower and you should run the 81.

Thanks guys, Yea I've tried everything from 21-28 and it just doesn't have the get up and go. I have them on order and hope to have them (69/75/83) this week.

I received my Tresrey camber link last night. As usual, I went overkill for the install. Instead of mounting the ball stud just on the camber link, I used a HA flange ball, some cone washer and spacers. A longer screw connects the camber link and the original mounting hole on the gearbox. I doubt I will have a problem with the rear link.

If you are going to have a choice between the 69 & 75 I would opt for the 69. I am running a 13.5 with a 69 and it gives plenty of room to go up or down on the pinion. The 75 will work, but you will most likely be tight on room to adjust, depending on your track layout.

The set up Murky used is my set up I've made a couple small changes, mainly springs/oil/pistons. Been doing some light testing when I have time and have my set pretty close to where I want it think. I'll get my set up posted a little later this morning. My local track (sdrcraceway.com) looks quite a bit like yours and several of us run either AKA Rebars or AKA Vektors in front and rear or a combo of both. If you have to run the Rebar rear, I would run the Vektor front if you are allowed a choice. Pretty much all the top guys in 2wd mod at our track all run the Vektor front "backwards". Depending on the rules allowed as far as modifying your rear "spec" tire, making them a smaller diameter like in the post Autocratic posted is a good option to try. One thing about Rebars on a med grip clay track that we have found is that they work best when the pins are worn down about 60-70%. The shorter pins help greatly with traction and keep the tire from being "squishy" feeling. so if you can find a way to wear the tread down before running them (like with a dremel or belt sander), you'll be steps ahead of the competition. On our track, we also use tire sauce like Buggy Grip, Dirt Gripper, TrackStar Gold, or Sticky Kicks Green. Another thing to look at since it looks like you are using the AKA foam as well, is to try and make the foam a little softer...I've been doing some testing with trimming the foam or punching holes in the foam to try and make it a little softer which can help in lower grip situations.

Ill try and get some vektors but think it might be hard as the reseller in sweden doesn't have them in stock and I think that getting them shipped to be before friday might be tight and expensive.

Can't find them in the UK either

Anything else you could suggest? I may just have to go ribs or maybe scrubs or barcodes what ya think

the sheet is up for grabs at petitrc ( the link I posted ) And I do use the 4 hole 1.2 drilled pistons in the back. but I use 25wt instead of the 22.5 oil

it is a great setup that will get the most out of your dex210 with the stock springs that comes with the kit.

just play a little bit with oil, ride height, and battery placement and its golden

Rear camber link changed to #3
Rear shock piston changed to drilled 4 hole x 1.2mm
Rear shock oil to Losi 22.5

Yes, these changes ^^^ plus, I changed the springs to Lt Green Durango fronts, and Lt Red Durango rears (you can use Losi Yellows from the 22 in the rear). In the front I went to 4 hole pistons as well with 30wt losi oil....in the rear I've been testing RC Shox two-stage pistons (6 hole 1.1/1.2 with 22.5wt right now) but the 4 hole set up on my current sheet is good to go. Mount lower front shock mounted outside hole on arm and one other thing is I'm down to a 1mm shim under the ball stud on the inner rear camber link and rear hubs mounted in the middle on the arm. Everything else the same.
