That motor is a lot to handle for almost every one but the best of the best or with a very heavy truck.

I had one in a home made truggy before any mfg came out with a truggy. 13lbs & 40 series proline tires & still was difficult to control.

I tried a few things that worked OK. 7mm restrictor,086 pipe, short header, heavy(had grub screw in them)alum shoes, 0.9 clutch springs, bigger cluth bell I think 2 teeth bigger than the old os21 used & detune so the motor was soft.

All that helped but when jammin came out with the CRT that motor went in a drawer & never came out again. They did come out with a higher port count that soften the motor some but,Uhh stil too much.

yeah it's power. I plan on making it a basher when i get my new buggy. I want to try the new alpha engine in it.
That motor is the only one i have drove that would spin all the tires on concrete lol

Yep i tryed running that engine in my XT8 a few years ago but it made me slower. So went back to the 21 and found it easier to drive. It defiantly is a monster and belongs in a heavier chassis that's for sure.
