I just wanted to take an opportunity to let everyone know about my experience with Team Associated and their customer/product support.

At a recent race that was extremely hard on equipment, I had a nearly new engine develop a crack along the bottom of the engine crank case. Although I knew that the crack had developed because of hard landings/flex, I decided to send the engine in to see if there was someway that Associated could have pity for me and help me out. I included an honest letter explaining what had happened and a copy of the receipt. To my surprise, Associated not only replaced the case but also shipped it back to me at no charge.

This only reaffirms my feelings for Team Associated equipment. If anyone has any apprehension about purchasing their merchandise; rest assured they stand behind their products.

Good for you! I had a similar situation with an OS vspec except my vspec came out of the box with a crack in the case. I called OS and they laughed at me as they hung up the phone. Needless to say that was my first and last OS engine

I have used and ran associated, lrp, and reedy since I can remember. I have had nothing but positive results with their customer service and repairs. I can honestly say they take pride in their name and they do whats right. Turn around time is amazing as well.

In this day and age , customer support goes a LONG way.

On a forum where you only see rants about bad experiences, it's nice to see something like this.

I had a similar experience with Horizon with a Spektrum Rx, it took a little long, but they replaced it free of charge.

Also Tekin did a similar warranty unexpectedly, very good customer service.

Glad to hear AE has great customer service, like it was earlier stated, it goes a long way for us retail customers..

x2 on the Spektrum and Tekin warranty. In my days of running rc's, Horizon, Hitec and Tekin have the best warranty i've dealt with.

I am going to thank Castle as well. I blew my Mamba Monster ESC because of a bad battery. I asked if i should send the 2200kv motor as well and they said yes. I got a brand new in box 2200kv Mamba Monster Combo free of charge when the motor most likely was fine. LOL They even took the time to cut off the Deans plug on my blown Mamba Monster and sent it back with the new combo. Took a while but they more then exceed great customer service.
