2016 U.S.VTA Southern Nationals in Music City U.S.A.

Send it to me. I'll even run it at the Southern Nats in my car.
Kind of proves my point about 25.5 F1. People are already out buying ROAR approved 25.5 motors and trying to find the 'best' 25.5 motor. Whether or not this exercise is a worthwhile endeavor, it's the perception that it's necessary to spend lots of $$$ to win is what I'm concerned about.

People will always search for the "latest and greatest" no matter what it is, or the "he's beating me so his motor must be better" thing. It is what it is...
Oh and by the way, his motor IS a turd..

Did ya think that maybe, just maybe, they wanted to run at a ROAR race and needed a legal ROAR approved motor?

And I find it paradoxical that in order to entice more people to race F1, we have to make it more expensive...

Perhaps. The 25.5 ROAR approved list is very short and very recent. And I have no idea about ROAR races. I just started racing RC on-road (or cars for that matter) 3 years ago and haven't even heard of a ROAR race anywhere near me.

I think going to the 25.5 has helped out the class. We at The Gate followed UF1 Midwest series rules. About a year age they were thinking of going to the 25.5 motor to make the cars a little easier to drive and the racing better. That in combination with getting rid of the Pardus spec tires has made a big difference. People are going faster with the 25.5 than they did with the 21.5. this is on carpet. Outside might be a lot different. Most big races such as the Indoor Champs, Halloween Classic, Snowbirds and several others have also switched.

I cant wait to see you guys battle it out in F1 come September....this is looking like a really good setup to a rivalry in the making...lol
but so everyone is clear, this is a USVTA event and we will be using the 25.5 option as stated by the rules....incl the Novak and any ROAR approved 25.5....and in case someone needs a good 25.5...Ive got a few lying around

I know I've asked this before. Where, exactly, are these USVTA rules for F1?
