Had a good time last night. My seven year old son was more upset by slow turnmarshaling than anybody there. Daniel got whacked in the shin trying to help marshal the SCT A main when the other marshal was distracted. We put ice on it last night and he limped home. He woke up this morning ready to go back and take out that guy that hit him.
His comment "Dad, when I went out to get the wrecked car there was nobody else even coming on the straight, that guy should have seen the wreck and avoided me and the crashed car I was getting."
Track was fun, jumps are good (just make sure you clear the big double). By the main I finally had enough practice to get it through my head that you don't apex the back straight exit turn it the way it looks.
Unfortunately probably won't make it back to race until after my daughter is born. The wife doesn't like us being 45 minutes from home when she could pop at any time.
