Looks Nice! Your coverage along with ours should set the standard for on the spot race coverage!!!

Everyone who can not attend,
Stay tuned for the coverage of this race! We hope this will set the standard for all future major races.

Time for work at my real job.

Sorry if this question was already asked, but will the streaming audio and scoreboard mentioned above be hosted at RCtech.net or another website?

Thanks, Gary

John: Thanks!

Gary: It will be linked from R/C Tech but hosted on one of my other servers. I expect it to be heavily trafficked and don't want to lose performance here on the forum.

We had talked about doing live video of the race, but I wanted to thoroughly test how well we could actually provide that before promising it. I am still not convinced that streaming technology has advanced to where we could actually sit there and watch a live race, at least not indoor on carpet with low light and super fast/small cars. It would work better for 1/8 off road or the like. I am going to try to set up a webcam of the pits or something like that, the race mic and radio show will be dialed though.

We just got word that we will have about 50 Protoform G6 bodies for sale next week. If you need one, you'll be able to get it at the race.

your getting me worried about the stratus I'm planing to run in rubber wont work.

Didn't someone mention that if this g6 body becomes the body everyone uses, there might be a bunch of 1 color paint schemes.

A professional painter should be at the event and offer there services.

good times

I think the G6 is more aimed towards foam racing, freeing up the rear of the body since there is already more traction than you know what to do with. On rubber tires, you still want that good old downforce.
