Default Hpi Firestorm help please

ok, i have a problem here. i played with my truggy today and it was fine for the couple of runs. After that we start hitting little jumps, then the car have a mind of it own and start taking off. no brakes / no throttle , no nothing !!! i change all new batt. before i went out. u think it could be the receiver and remote that came with the truggy ? its totally stock. think the on/off switch could be bad ?
need help please
