Did I read it correctly?. . .You're running a RS4 Sport 3 against some pro chassis?
Tell me how well the race goes for you. . .Good luck.

RS4 Sport 3 vrs Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0
Picked up the 4-Tec 2.0 today and I must say, it looks almost identical to the RS4 Sport 3. Major difference is that the 4-Tec has Traxxas stability built in, plastic motor mount and a 3 piece chassis design, nice body mount system.

Hey Billy Kelly. Sorry to hear it couldn't work-out for you with the RS4 Sport 3 at the race.
You say it was a gearing issue (problem with the ratio)?
I installed 64-pitch gears on my RS4 Sport 3. (would that make a difference?. . .I don't know about USGT rules)

It wasn't me that tried. I sold mine after 3 months. USGT uses 21.5 motors. 64p gearing might have helped. But even then not sure if he could have gotten it geared right.

Wider Front...?
I measured the Rear and Front Track-Width of the RS4 Sport 3 chassis (with 6mm Off-Set Wheels mounted).
-the Front Track-Width is wider than the rear
-The Wider Front Track-Width is for More Steering Leverage.
Or; it's only my chassis. . .?(my RS4 Sport 3 chassis had a weird set-up straight out of the box). . .I changed it. Now it runs like a normal chassis.

What do you mean by a weird setup? I've just ordered one of these, what do you recommend I do for general street bashing, anything?

If your going to upgrade the car here's a good baseline that will direct you to the part list of hop-ups available.

Hey lifeofbrian;
I purchased the RS4 Sport 3 with the Brushed Motor (Orange BMW).
-the Caster was off Rear and Front.
-the Inside Suspension Mounts were set with 2mm too much. . .The chassis couldn't run straight.
I fixed it.
The Brushless Motor version might not have those build mistakes...?

As this car has an very low internal ration (about 3.07), blinky ratios are very hard to reach. To reach 1:5.0 you have to mount a 80T spur gear in 64DP and mount a 50T pinion...
By the way I'm quite afraid that this car is too heavy for stock classes.... :-(
