Fastest guy at our track runs a dead stock B6, its even built with factory oils.
Schumachers have never been cheap and this car is no exception. Drivetrain and
shock wear even things out in the long run.

Seems like the KC maybe more popular than the KD. Maybe the KC with a ball diff for medium bite dirt tracks? I really like the new KD,KC and seems to be the best 2wd coming out, but at 399 I'm just not that dedicated to 2wd as I enjoy 4wd much more...How long before the K4D and K4C come out ?
team guys car that pretty much has every option available.

Not quite, a B6 needs nothing but an aluminum horn to be competitive on

Adams car is in the middle and its dead stock. 3rd place Kyle Latham so its
not like where a bunch of hacks. To be fair Kyle was losing a diff and he beat
us like rented mules in 17.5.
Medium high bite astro. Yeah most guys are adding bars and weight plates but the car is VERY good out of the
box.
None of this is meant to insinuate the KC is not going to perform extremely well.
2 different cars meant to compete in different price points, not really a fair comparison.

Have they addressed the durability of these cars? I have a KR and it breaks parts if I look at it wrong. If I was a hack driver I wouldn't care but I drive carefully and still find broken parts after a few runs. Compared to an AEB6 or an Xray XB2 the Shumacher is a china in a bull shop. I love the construction and cool parts but spend a lot of time fixing instead of practicing/racing.

According to the KC and KD manuals and exploded diagrams, the ball differentials of both kits use the same diff balls and diff washers but different diff outputs.
KC Ball Differential
U3750 Diff Output; Male - Cougar SV

KD Ball Differential
U4005 Diff Output; Female - Cougar SV2
U4006 Diff Output; Male - Cougar SV2
What is the dimensional difference (e.g. bearing post length, outdrive length) between these two different sets of diff outputs?

Yeah I have to agree about the durability! They are durable IMHO. I have since switched to AE for cost reasons and because they are more popular so getting advice is easier but I still like schumacher ALOT! Ran the SV2 and aside from the occasional broken arn the car was SOLID! Really, no complaints except parts are pricey and not alot of place stock any parts so have to carry stuff and be prepared of day is over! They are expensive but they are just as durable as any other car out there

Just to add something on the durability.
I've just had to replace the front and rear arms on my KF, as they have worn out, after 3 Years of weekly mod racing, and only 1 broken arm.
I don't think this exceptional durability is unique to Schumacher, it seems all cars have improved, but Schumacher is just as durable as the rest.
When it comes to transmission, the diff out drives, shafts and gears have been faultless, with no slotting of the diff outdrives, where people running alternative brands have seen some slotting.
Despite this low wear rate, I have pre ordered the new cars. I was satisfied the KF was still competitive on carpet, slippy floor and astro, until I saw the new KC and KD. The KF has lasted well, but I feel these two new cars provide the opportunity to have the best 2wd available for all conditions.

Ya in 5+ years of racing Schumacher I think I've broken a handful of parts. And those all deserved to break I assure you lol
Racing at the pace of modified carpet racing, a weak car simply will not last. Schumacher have proven time after time they are at the top of the list of durability
