Hey ARC guys... I have a R10 2015 and was curious how competitive it is compared to the new 2017? Am I missing out? I'm just a novice driver getting back into carpet racing. Thanks!

2015 is still very competitive. Still using mine as well as my R11's. Drive that thing...it's still very good.

I'm still using the first generation R10 and it's still pretty "competitive". It's not the car that's holding me back, it's my driving. Then again I'm also running my 12R5.1 with the Nimh chassis cutouts and I think it's super "competitive".

But the R11 sure looks nice.

I have 3 R11's and just ordered a 2017 US Kit for carpet as well. Cant wait to get this thing out for its first run. Everything else has been exceptional as far as quality, part fitment, and out of the box, they are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Now I just need the driver to get better, but I can tell you, that these cars make it so much easier to drive and improve.

Lots of support on the Facebook ARC team pages, both here in the US and Europe/Asia. Very helpful team members and lots of setups on PetitRC

Hey, Do we know if the Arc R11 2017 upgrade kit works on the ARC R10 2015 with the floating steering system?

This is the kit - http://www.arc-rc.com.tw/products_r1...ion100014.html

Yeah, aside from the upgrade kit, you would need shock towers, servo mount, bulkhead caps, Eccentrics, front belt, sway bar mounts, battery holders, and all new arm blocks.

So front belt changed?
Sway bar mounts seem to be in the bulkheads
arm blocks are the same part numbers
battery holders i can make some...

hmm, bulkhead caps...

So basically, it's almost the same price as getting a whole new car...

I have a 2015 black edition and I'd just buy a new kit. They would have offered an upgrade kit if it was feasible.
