Good luck with the new endeavor!

I just bought some gear of a fellow here and two of the engines are Max Engines. I can't find any info on them would appreciate some help figuring out what I have. They are both .12 engines. One has XXL3 on the head. The other is NIB, and the box says MX12 Max5 and has S5 on the head. What do I have and where can I find information / manuals for these? Thanks for the help.

Best thing is to google search the engines part numbers.

The XXl3 is the version that Ralph Burch won the 2010 world championship.

The M5 is a older 5 port engine. It was used more for the outlaw class.

Hope that helps.

Thanks,
Drew

Default Good luck Drew

Congrats Drew and on all your recent success at the tracks, hope all is well

The last time I was at Kissimmee Full Throttle Raceway in 2013, by all means was not the fastest driver but my Max Power 3.5 Fantini Tuned that many would vouch for and say may have been one of, if not fastest engine at that event which placed me nicely in the final...

Definitely have to get me some Max ponies back under my hood again for our upcoming season. Thanks. Mike...

Hi Drew,
Looking at the .12 motors, it looks like whats new for this year is the 3.5 and the 3.9 is that correct to say? If so what is the difference of the 2 motors, thanks

Hi,

Yes that is correct.

The numbers have to do with the crank/bearing size.

The RP3.5T is the smaller of the two. 11.5

The WE.9 or XP3.9 is the bigger one. 11.9. This one is a longer stroke then the RP3.5. It also make a little more RPM. "WE" stands for Worlds Edition.

Hope this helps, will be having more info soon.

I have both these engines in stock.

Thanks,
Drew
