Hard to tell from the pics but I can't see anything major it lacks against Caster. ALso it has stuff that Caster does not so maybe it's the pills then

Well it's not a secret that STR8 was made by Caster and that there was a lot of whining about the C-hub and Caster guys not allowed to use it in UK/Europe. What that has got to do with the 1:1 car manufacturers I have no clue but I assume you do as you are having fun. Or is the funny part that Hobbytech now sources their cars from another mfg ?

No, it is still our sister company. I am just intrigued as to how many people write off "Caster" with "it is too small of a company" "product is xxxxx"

that is all. Neobuggy is primarily a European news source and Hobbytech is huge in Europe. They have done a great job promoting their product.

I like the looks of the body. Seems to be a lot of adjustment holes on the rear hubs. Lots of suspension tuning to be had.

The name is a bit odd. They took Dodge/Chrysler's SRT8 and swapped the T and R to STR8 which could also be read as "straight".

I think there's ALWAYS more room in the marketplace for new and innovative buggy's. Some of the cars on the market (yes, their still winning races) are getting a little long in the tooth, in my opinion! Exciting new releases are always welcome by me, and all the people I know!

If some of the major chassis manufacturers we all know, don't make dramatic changes to their platforms soon, to keep up with all the innovation that's been recently released, I wouldn't be surprised if a SMALLER known company takes the BIGGER hardware.

The next 2-3 years are certainly going to prove interesting in regards to the 1/8 racing scene. Wait n' see!
