WHAT IS THE BEST BUGGY TIRE TO DATE(OPINIONS)
What do you think?

This is seems like a loaded question.
That said, A smaller pin like a Tazer or Gridiron will work "decent enough" at 95% of tracks.

loaded question indeed. The correct answer is whatever works for you, and track you're racing at. Ask the people at the track, or try different ones yourself. This is too open of a question to be posed in a forum.

Sorry to jump in and change the subject a little, but how about this. How do you pick your tires based on the track conditions. In other words when do you know to use a soft, med or hard tire or a small or large pin tire? I have asked a couple racers this and always get a different answer.

Not loaded at all...... Just asking what you think the best buggy tire is to date ( which one has one the most big races? which tread do you think has the most wins ect.......lets say for the last 15 years in racing

Aka Impacts SS, red foam. (outdoors)
The Gridirons, Megabites, Holeshots are better still, but fall apart quick outdoors. I either have to use a harder compound or a larger knob for the tires to last and not lose knobs.

JUst a question.
Bored ....NO! well maybe a little
20 years. I wish I was only around for 20 years... That would make me 19 lol.

I think the biggest impact on my racing has been the holeshot... Back in the day of good ol gas truck we used to spend hours trimming them to suit 1/8 buggy... Now that was a lot of work. They actually banned cutting and gluing tires at the CRCRC race in Ohio because it was so good. Now you dont have to of course.
