is there any particular tamiya model that i can swap parts from??? thanks in advance!!!
You need longer shocks, I think Tamiya Pink ( Alluminium ) Oil Damper Set should be good. Or Tamiya Black Oil Damper ( original oil damper from TA05, TB02 ).

You won't get the TT-01 any higher than it is with the kit shocks, the suspension will only go down that far. Ride height is already substantial at 15+mm.

As it says on the TT-01 box - "On-road use only". Run it as a rally car if you like but don't expect it to run as well as one of the old TB-01 chassis which were designed for rally.

One of our friends cut out the lower plate to allow more travel to the arms and then just put the longer lower shock eyelets on and ran it on our rally track. It ran really good. I would suggest making some kind of cover or trying to get the TB01 inner body set cover to fit.

Talking what chassis hop ups

what chassis hop ups would make my 18t
pinion
go faster than my friends 25t
without changings the gears
and we both have a tamiya sport tuned
would carbon fibre hop ups make it alot faster

Chassis parts don't make the car any faster in a straight line and cost a lot more than a pinion gear and the spur set. Just get the same gearing as him.

and what are the best tyres to buy for racing aat a rc car club

would i be able to make my tt-01 go faster than a ta-05 with a 540 in it

would gearing beat it

to get the speed you need to work wih the gearing. 55Spur and 25 pinion in a TT01 will yield the best results with a 540 motor, even better with a Sport tuned. just make sure you monitor the motor temps though, you don't want the motor to run too hot.
