Hey Benny,

I raced the original TNX for some time, the best thing you can do is get some decent tyres on it. I find the Proline Crimefighter MTR's work best for me.

There is heaps of information here - www.tamiyatrucks.com

This is my old truck - www.members.optusnet.com.au/nrgroup

Are you planning on racing at the Winter Cup next weekend?

To do the Revo spur swap is a bit of work but well worth it.

Here is a detailed diagram on how to what you will need for the Tranny;

http://www.tamiyatrucks.com/index.ph...ry_view&iden=1

You basically need to replace the TNX output shaft with the Revo one.

I was running the OS TM engine, this had a pilot shaft like the Revo engines so the flywheel clutch and clutchbell were a direct fit. If he is using the standard shortshaft engine he will need a clutchnut, I think it may be this one;

If you do a search on the www.tamiyatrucks.com forum I am sure you will find all the info you need. A guy by the name Z1NONLY was the first to do it and helped me a lot when I did the conversion. The tranny mod diagram was drawn up by BRISTNX, he is on this forum as well.
