WHAT DID YOU DO TO/FOR YOUR MUGEN MBX6 TODAY?
Cool way to see what new parts guys are trying out or replacing. Also to help some of the rookies or the guys that been out if the scene for awhile (me) from buying equipment that dont last.
or just show off your new parts.
Bought a new ACE 1015 throttle servo. Kept having problems with the JR Sport ST126MG

I bought a Kyosho MP9!
But no really first thing I bought when I had mine is the King Headz Extended Quick Change engine mount, helps to keep the chassis from cracking.

Since last time, I swapped my 3K rear diff oil for 7K. I'm now running 5/7/7 and I really like it. I might even try 7/7/7.

I raced today with a dirt setup (stock setup) on astroturf. I had to use worn tires because my car was rolling too much with good tires and a bad setup.
I was just driving it hard and controlled and I was still one of the 3 fastest people at the track
The shocks felt pretty good, but a bit less damping will be better I guess. The diffs were waaay to lose. I had to drive it slowly to be fast My stock swaybars were to thin too.
I'll try 9.5 600f and 10.5 500r with 2.7-3.0mm swaybars in the front and rear and 10-10-5 in the diffs and minipin tires. I'm guessing that setup will be kick ass on that track.
And what I bought: A tekno kit and traktion drive and the upper alu front arm
What I'll buy this week: Swaybars, stiffer springs, diff oils and shock oils.
You don't need to buy much option parts for the Mugen. This car rocks right out of the box. Much better than my old Losi

Nice thread, but there is already a dedicated thread for the MBX6 and MBX6T and just about ever other manufacturer.
The MBX6 doesnt need much. The only thing that i would recommend is the king headz extended motor mount. All the other stuff imho is bling or maybe makes life a little easier. As far as performance upgrades, it doesnt need anything.
