You have a good deal (base on the motor is still in good working order) if you have parts already. The body and wing and the hardware are not cheap.

I dont think that is a tune flex chassis.
Anytime you need a motor give me a PM perfect buyer

Whata nightmare! Wife kaiboshed my deal at the zero hour vyesterday. I was pissed.

Luckily a buddy stepped in and met the guy today. I'm on 3 days off and live 50 miles away from seller. Buddy even fronted the money for me.
Should have it in my hands by dinner time.

Thanks for the help on this.
I'll post later to try and figure out what to install where.

Default Losi 8

I looks pretty well taken care of, nice and clean. It seems you will need a pipe, wing and wing mount, servos, and a body. I would ask how many gallons on the motor, when was the diffs and shocks last rebuilt, and maybe try and get a pic of the bottom of the chassis.

Couple pics of car. Anyone see anything of concern or highlights.

Guy said the engine takes a turbo plug.. I think the only thing i'll have to buy at this point is a battery pack, wing mount and manifold. I believe I have evrything else I need.
I will be looking for a 2.4ghz radio and receiver soon if anyone knows a cheap deal. cheap

Turns out I have an exhaust manifold. However, it's a tad too long. Is it bad to cut it? If I took off about 3/4", it would fit with the pipe.

Very good deal. Get a one piece pipe. And set EPA correctly on the throttle servo or the truggy will eat it for snacks.

Since it has the lipo battery cover on does that mean he was running lipo? Does it have a VR installed still or all electronics stripped?

If its not set up for lipo and you have the means to do so I suggest doing it...a 7.4 2000mah hooked to a VR lasts a long time...keeps the weight down lower for slightly better COG too.

What is EPA?
What is VR? There are no electronics on it. It came with both covers.

With our Tax return this year, I was going to get a new car. Maybe the Kyosho Neo. I'm thinking of just putting a few bucks to get this running top notch instead.

Looking for reccomendations for a radio/receiver and a throttle servo.

"High Speed" for throttle? Whats the difference between, analog, digital and High Voltage?

I'm looking for entry level stuff and prices. I'd like to have this thing running by end of week if possible.

I already have good condition pipe. No markings other than EFRA. It's all black. Must have been an extra for my Kyosho. I'd like to use this. Does the manifold matter much?

EPA= end point adjustment.
VR= Voltage regulator.

All losi 8 1.0 T or B have issues with the throttle servo. EPA needs to be very precisely adjusted.

If you are talking about the RTR NEO, i would keep the mp777 (per your signature).
