Default XB808 fishtailing, please help.

Hi all,

I bought a XB808 and the rear is fishtailing when i land a medium sized jump. I do not know what weights are in the diffs and shocks because i bought the kit 2nd hand. Its running the factory silver springs btw.

Thanks for all your help

is it bottoming out when you land? if so, stiff'n up the springs in the rear a bit, if it's not bottoming out, soften the springs...you should have threaded shock bodies so doing this should be fairly easy and painless lol this is where i would start

sounds like your rear oil is too light and is rebounding violently.

I used to run 650f/600r with 1.1x10 pistons,

hope that helps

Anytime you buy a used kit you should always change the dif and shock fluids so you will know what is in them and they will be fresh. That way you know what needs to be changed and where you started.
