The shocks are TRF short big bore and the springs are Ride shorty, if I'm correct 23mm long. The Xray springs are too short for TRF big bore. I extended the shocks to get desired droop.
You're not using a screw to mount the fan? Any reason for this? Parts available? The vibration from the fan running must be very noticeable.
I say use whatever lipo you want. Tested the car with long and short and I like both, I don't have a square lipo so I can't comment but it should before similar to the shorty.

Honestly, i try use ride short springs, but failed due the diameter are too large without plastic rings.
I use nylon ties instead of screws, due that part is easy to suffering on crash.
From my latest try with Yokomo short shocks, i can say they work perfectly

I've never driven any other FF but so far i'm happy with the performance. I can't really complain for price and performance this car is a winner.

In fact i use short dampers but not big bores, due swap from my tb04 which i no longer run.

I was going to use them but I couldn't adjust the eyelet. My kit came with the eyelet CA and the shock lengths were really off.
