I run mine at Wombwell in the uk which is a large tarmac track. My settings are
40 weight Schumacher oil in the shocks all round
1.5 degree negative camber front
2 degree negative camber rear
5mm droop front and rear
5mm ride height
1/2 degree front toe out
White Tamiya springs on the front (Hard on road spring set)
Blue Tamiya springs on the rear (Hard on road spring set)
the rest of the car is run as kit set up.
I have won my first 2 meetings with this set up by a lap from the second placed car hope this helps

A lot of it has been overlapped in the xi sport thread. Both great cars that work well. Especially for the price.

The car feel great, i have basically the standard setup i just changed the rear block to +1 to get a 3 rear toe.

I have a little problem with my ultimate, running 17.5 with the new version Jaco blues i spent that last two weeks endless traction rolling. I read the article about traction rolling on here and tried everything with no imporvment at all. Its a stock ultimate kit and i was running kit springs with the 3 hole pistons and kit springs with 30 weight oil. This car just snaps and traction rolls mimd corner. I tried bigger hol shock pistons, lighter oil to try and soften the suspension, lowered the roll center with the 3racing .50 roll center shims and took all the shims out from under the inner ball studs, reduced camber from 1 degree i was running to a half degree, raised the front ride height to 5.5mm, and as a last ditch effort before i gave up i took the rear sway bar off and put the thickest front sway bar i had on the front which was a 1.5mm and if i am correct in thinking that the front sway bar helps the rear stay planted this should help rear end grip thinking if i gain rear it would give a little push and not traction roll as much but no luck there either. I have the 3racing spring kit and some racers at my track say the spring in that kit are too hard and i need to run somethin way softer, does this sound right? I am at the end of my rope, i am on the verge of selling this car. Its sad to say i have a XI sport that stock other then the floating mount and double joint and its a awesome on usgt that capable of running with awesomatix and xrays and i cant get the ultimate to make 3 clean laps in a row.

If you are rolling mid corner, you might need to keep the rear swaybar on. What tires are you running, and what do you do to them?

If you are rolling, then it means your car has too much traction - which is usually easier to fix than having no traction.

What is your droop settings, and what have you done to adjust your roll center? I've traction rolled before and was able to drive "through" it in my sakura by keeping power on throttle. Basically means my rolling was a result of poor weight transfer - so i checked my droop settings. I also stopped applying compound to my front tires.

I'd recommend to keep the ride height as a constant, and not to play with dampening too much. Kit 30 wt oil and three holes is pretty universal. 5.5 spring in front and 7.0 spring in back (or 6.5).

I am using jaco blues, and i was using SXT compound and tried it with none as well. I started with 5mm of droop and according to the traction roll write up lowering droop helps and i started moving down 1mm increments until i got to 1mm of droop no improvement. It traction rolls under acceleration as well. Also keeping both sway bars on and only having the front one on made no difference what so ever.
