Default Trains and Lanes Raceway Easton, Pa 18045

Hey everyone, yup its that time again, and trains and lanes is ready to start off a brand new race season, this year with a few new changes we hope to make things run smoother than ever. With the past race director now in college and into full scale midget racing, i will be taking over this year under his direction.

The schedule of starting events are as follows.

Saturday May 10th, track preparation, watering, reworking. All are welcomed to come out the day before to get things up and going.

Saturday May 11th, Practice from sun-up to approx 11 o'clock, Check in at 11:30, drivers meeting at 11:45 First round of qualifying 12:00pm.

Classes are as follows* note, we will be making all efforts to run 1/10th scale buggy and truck races. Not limited to b44, b4, t4 etc. All it takes is approx 4 people to make a class. 19 turn and Mod

1/8th scale buggies
1/8th scale Truggies,
1/8th scale monster trucks
1/8th scale buggies

any other classes will be available as long as there are at least 4 people available to race for that class.

Point Series to follow as the season gets going.

Is this place still alive?
Tried calling the store for info this Monday 9:30, 10:30, and 12:00 no answer
There are a few of us long islanders looking to race Oct 5 2008 and want info
pictures of current layout track condition tires u r now using?
and so on

Hey Carl they are racing. Try the Trinity site in the offroad thread as that thread gets alot more people posting. I know tire wise they normally run Holeshots, BigShots, BK Bars and Switches. Just depends on how many run as to what tire they use. For me I did my best with BigShots and Holeshots but others ran BK Bars.

We are racing on the 5th. Tires that work well include:
Holeshots M3
BK Bars Red
X-3000 and 2000 Red
Panther Switches Soft

Any other questions let me know

We got some rain last night, but it won't be a problem. The track should be in great shape for racing come 4pm this afternoon. Tim will be posting some last minute pictures later tonight. Anyone coming be sure to bring the stores phone number because sometimes the nav systems give you bad directions.

Whats the schedule look like for 1/8 buggy on Oct 18-19 on through the end of your season? My track ends on the 12th and i've been looking to stop out at yours. I know the big race on Nov 2 but I will be away.....

heres some last minute pictures of the track, racing starts at 11 tomorrow. These pictures were taken early this afternoon and the track is in much better shape now. I'll ask tim about racing on the 19th.
