Thumbs up

howdy, seems like your having a little trouble. ihad some starting issues when i bought my 8ight. it was my first rc and i got frustated sometimes , but keep w/ it and now about 2 years later. i dont have problems anymore. it just takes some getting use to. as for your problem w/ it idleing fast, i think you said, and it inching forwad a little when it should be idleing. try your throttle trim adjustment that should help. you got the 8ight rtr right. try the trim and see if that helps. hope you get it all figured out. good luck, clay unruh

I am having a blast!!! I finished my break in and by the last tank I had a problem. When I turn my radio and receiver on the throttle servo is buggin out. I mean its not really doing anything to affect the driving but I was nervos because I thought I was going to have a runaway. The steering isn't doing anything just the throttle? All batterys are charged too. Is this a problem?

eights are throttle servo hungry if you don't know how to set them up. there is a addendum for it. look at the radio tray addendum and throttle linkege addendum to set up correctly.

How would I adjust my brakes on my 8ight t. It seems like there is about 70% ront and 30% back and I understand it should be 60% back and 40% front. How can I adjust this?

that's accually a personal preferance, i like the 70/30 set up. you have two adjustment screws on the brakes. top one does the rear and the bottom does the front. screw out to add and in to take out. i personally only deal with one and not both. just get it to ware you like it.

oh no!! not the screws that hold the calipers... they will be the blue ones that are on the throttle servo horn that go to the center diff area. i do a basic setup on my kitchen floor. i'll hold the brakes at full on the radio. then push the car on the tile. have it to ware the rear tires are locked up but the front will still roll but on the edge of locking up. that would be a starting point for a 40/60 setup. then when you are at the track, you can adjust the atv's in the radio to how you like it.
