I have seen the Mamba Max Pro against a EA and I must say that the Mamba was faster than the current V200 from Tekin and faster than the SPX.
But the EA was a bit faster.

No the ESC does not make ur car go faster.
It utilizes the full potential of ur electronics, and can give you the max results with what you supply the ESC with.
At the end of the day you are still only as fast as you are able to drive it. Or how much ur motor can do xD

If you compare this ESC to other High end racing ESC, this is about in par with them.
It has adjustibility, upgradability, Lots of support and the parts used in manufactoring seems to be all standar or good quality parts.
Well when two Factory Tekin drivers at are big race say that the MMP was good for 1 to 2 tenths a lap faster I guess thats saying something. Also its why Tekin drivers are posting about yet another new software update.

Fact is not all speedos are the same even if they have downloadable software. If they where all equal they wouldn't make the software of the week like some companies do. They do it because another company has a better product and they are trying to catch up.

That is one of the things that has always set Castle apart from the racing speedo companies. They have been like that from day one.

Anyone know where these are still available as just the ESC? All I can find is combos, and I don't need the motor. Or if anyone is wants to have the CC motor for cheap I'll buy the combo and you can take the motor. PM me and we can work out the details.

I tried but damn the solder they used seems like you need a higher temp to melt it so I stop I don't want to burn the board.

The MMP and AE speedos were banned in stock classes at round 2 due to availability. They are both legal for round 3 in Cincinnati.

Here's my setup on 17.5 novak balistic motor:

ESC profile = Cheat Mode
Motor timing = 35 degree (1 notch positive end)
ESC Timing = 40 degree
RPM = 4500-6500
FDR = 4.0
start up mode = High (set this at high for max punch)

Adjust your FDR to about 4.5 since your track is small.

I think it really sucks that these ESCs are banned from events/clubs. Essentially, you won't be able to run them until the other guys have similar software, thus ruining any advantage you had being part of the brave few to try something different. It's too bad "fast guys" couldn't just suck it up and run what's been given to them and run 3ed.

where are they banned? they were excluded for the 2nd rd of NEGS just b/c every1 didnt have time to get their hands on 1. fair game now. clubs who ban this stuff (especially the castle) are only gonna see folks leave and that hurts the club. folks dont want to buy what u have at the shop if there is somethin else to try. they will simply leave.

to the fella above w/the 17.5 settings. shouldnt u be using no motor timing per suggested by castle?
