would you happen to know the # for the bushings instead of the bearings by any chance? thanks

i am not sure there are bushings for the steel diffs. from my original tc3 manual with the steel diffs. it shows bearings not bushings for the diff

Bearings go in the Steel Diff's. Bearings go in the IRS Aluminum Diff. Bushings go into the Plastic Diffs.. Don't do like I did at snowbirds and put Bearings in Plastic Diff... it will melt.
3907 is the part number for the bushings

ok thanks, i built a spool from a set of steel outdrives and used the bushings and everything fit fine, i just need to have the diff to run mod this weekend after the weekend is over i will invest in some bearings for them but i may only be able to get the bushings for now. thanks for the info.

Theisgroup-
I heard about them but a person at my local track tried them and they say that the bushings work better in the plastic diff.
I thought the Bearings would work in the plastic diff for just 1 stock class run but they did not . Big mistake..cost me a really good run. unfortunatly the hobbyshop at the race was not open at the time so I could not buy the bushings.

Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.
DIFF BEARINGS.
I have always fitted the narrower bearings on TC3 plastic diffs without problems.
I don't think they are really necessary - the plain bushings will work perfectly well, but once we have the bearings we use them.

steel cvds
Does anyone make steel CVDs for the TC3?
#4034
MIP has steel CVD's for the TC3. The IRS oversized aluminum bones are stronger - I've run both.

Hey, Why would the tc3 need to be "stiffer". It is already stiff, why would you need a upperdeck?
