people tell me that my driving in super smooth, I guess all those years of electric buggy and truck, and gas truck really worked it's way into my 1/8th driving. At least I usually have pretty good luck come race day

I drive slow, smooth, and steady just because im too poor to replace broken parts and bald a set of tires in 1 day. Ive actually never bought a set of new tires, I just buy 1 run old tires for $10 (set of 4) at my track.

Mix of smooth and aggressive, I guess. I try my best to not crash and will skip doing big jumps if I don't think I can make them and try to do them an alternative way, but I blip the throttle alot (even in 2wd electric buggy) and turn hard in corners in order to get the inside line.

I started with electric, before the brushless revolution. I got pretty good with throttle control, but i moved to nitro and had to really hit the throttle hard to make up for the lag time the motor had. I had it tuned by a sponsered racer's father/crewchief, No matter what there was a lag i couldn't get past. I returned to electric and brushless, Now i have to relearn the control i once had.

Dang you smokers, I gots to relearn electric driving, but its more fun

My driving style has changed quite a bit since I changed from nitro to electric. When I drove nitro I was harder on the gas. Now that I drive electric brushless I am smother on the throttle because the extra torque or the brushless.

I am usually the one to take the risks and try and take off a second or two off my laps. A lot of the times it works for me and I can basically do everything I want the car to do. But some times I do have to stop myself because it just isn't working for me and I have to try and be more consistent. A lot of the time it depends on the track, what I am racing, and how long the race is. If it's a long A main I am not going to go balls to the wall off the bat. I am going to start off easy until the later part of the race. I drive basically the same way I race Marathon Jet Boats. We race for 10 days on world events. For the first week it basically just getting from point A to point B and finish. For the last 3 days you throw the boat on the chop, take riskier lines on the river, etc.
