Default Suggestions for GT2 Motor

Does anyone know of a good upgrade motor to put in an associated GT2. I want more speed on the bottom end. I currently have the stock .15 in it.

If you can find a OS 12 CVR(rotary carb) with AE(smoothy) pipe. That motor was the best motor I ever ran in my XXX-NT. But you will probably have to get an OS 18CVR or CVR(X) if you need pullstart. Just make sure its side exhaust and rotary carb... Check http://www.towerhobbies.com

Makes me miss gas truck....

if ya just bashing and want to stay pullstart..

we put a SH.18 in my bro's GT .... its a nice really cheap engine ... i was looking at the OS 18 to put in it but had a sh18 out of a old himoto car i had and to tell ya the truth the thing just hammers ... with the revo clutch and gearing we run its got the most top speed out of all my cars .. plus we put the roto start backplate on it which makes it soo easy to start.

+10 on the O.S. .12cvr!!!! phenominal motor....if you can find one in good shape. (i still have mine sitting, waiting for the day 1/10 offroad makes a come back or I find a dirt oval close to home!) another decent motor would be the dynamite .12spd. as far as I know you can still find them from stomer hobbies for well under $100 bucks....these would be for racing mainly...but for bashing purposes look into an O.S. .18rz (got one in my revo and DAM!!!) closest thing i've seen to "big block" power without being a "big block".....another long shot look would be a .15cvr...but they've also gone practicly extinct....
