Losi 8ight help
Im not sure I like the engine. Does anyone know of an engine mount I can get to mount a traxxas 3.3 in it? I have an extra 3.3 around that ran strong that I wanted to try. I believe the 8ight has the 427 in it now. thanks for any help you can give.

ok then, I just traded a Jato for this buggy and it seemsto take a few seconds to take off. Is this normal for these big blocks or maybe just time for a rebuild. As for power once I get going this thing flies. just was looking for some take off power.

ok Ill check the clutch. Do these have a slipper clutch and a bellhousing clutch like the traxxas models?

the 427 has plenty of power, i would say rich low end, since you say it takes a sec to get going then it takes off....
but it could be a worn clutch too, take the engine out, pop the clutch bell off, and you will see 2 or 4 pads, if they look warn(back of the shoe looks like a ramp sorta) then replace the shoes, if you have digital calipers you can measure them too.
