I personally, dont like using conversions or last gen tech. So given equal performance, I would still run a b5m over the centro. Why? because my LHS will have all of the parts. I doubt they ever support the centro. It does suck that so many people bought the centro 2-3 months ago and now AE has a new car.

agreed i always like to buy the latest and greatest but for me, but i only run 2wd 10th scale in winter so by the time b5m is out it will be time for outdoor offroad so for once in my life i may exercise moderation and I will probably just wait until next year to make a move... i think haha 260 is such a good price

By next fall AE will probably have a factory team kit out that has all the aluminum & titanium bits. Everybody knows titanium & aluminum will take 3 seconds off your lap time. But it will probably be $20 more.

I know you're joking but I am the poster boy for the fact that all the hop up bits will NOT take 3 sec off of anything. If all the stuff I have on my B4.2 is saving me 3 seconds a lap then I must REALLY suck.

... thats extremely vague and generic... under what conditions with who driving? I think the c4.2 is doing pretty well... your signature would lead one to believe that you are biased against centros
haha, not biased it's just the truth. Our track is also on the low to medium side of bite so there is not alot of mid motors. It was Buddy Baker ,not sure the track he drove them at, conversation was at another track where he was racing a centro.
Take it for what it's worth, i was just relaying what i was told. And yes it is their job to sell whats new, but at the same time if all sponsored racers did was tell lies no one would believe them. I am sticking with my b4.2 for now till I see for myself

Given the previous model already included all the "higher end" components, this kind of doesn't make sense with it being an all new and improved kit. Especially when the parts already exist.

Wondering if the B 5 front end will fit or can made to
work on a Centro chassis...
