If and when a new rb6 comes out I'll buy one but I'm really interested in the new 22.3.0...

I think we will see a refresh of the RB6 some time next year with new side pods, new chassis for sideways stock, and maybe 3 gear and other things. No way there is an RB7 coming any time soon

Sometimes. There isn't enough different to warrant an upgrade kit.

Yeah, I can't see much that would warrant an update. Ok, maybe a chassis that accommodates a sideways battery layout and a 3 gear tranny but that's about it... maybe include the gear diff with the aluminum half...

3 gear, new chassis, new front and rear end geometry that fixes the sidebite issue that hurts the car in the corners. And lower the price. I love my ZX-6, but I will not run any other Kyosho car due to price and how old the tech is. Their best bet would be to just copy Shins design for the YZ-2 with YMax transmission and call it the RB7.

I run on super high bite and find that what may be an issue of low side bite on medium grip causes the car to corner very quickly when grip is high.... that said, the fastest 2wd on our track is no doubt the rb6.... by 1/2 comparing hotlaps...

Hello guys,

I wanted to try the UMW724 steering brace in my car but it seems there is a binding problem after installation. Added the shims that came with the kit but the binding remains...any ideas?

That's exactly what I was saying, at SRS (super high bite clay), the car was great. Got it to OC/RC (medium at best) It was BAD....... I slaughtered it with a B5M lite, and was nearly on the same lap times with a YZ-2 (without the YMax conversion). The car is showing age, and needs to be updated.
