I don't mean to invade this thread, but GT guys are helpful and I need some help. I'm setting up a 1/10th sedan and have the LRP SSX controller. I noticed the sensor cord from Novak motors are not compatible. Can anyone tell me if motors other than LRPs will work with that ESC?

Spooky, the sensor connectors to my knowledge are standardised, I run Tekin and Novak and they're the same.. Can you pm with a pict? Also did you try contacting team associated?

Damn, you guys got me talking about RX's on a RC car site again....

sensored cables are universal, but there is an upside and downside to each cable end. If it doesn't seem to fit, flip it over.

Here's the beater I'm working on. http://www.wolfenet.org/gallery2/v/mazda3/ Picked it up for $500 as a total with hydrolocked motor. Look at the second page, 2 bent rods. Coworkers wife thought she could drive it through deep water down in mission valley during the rains. Motor locked, rest of the car like new.

Hey guys,

Anyone know of any outdoor on-road tracks in the Cleveland area? I'm there for about 4 months for job training and I'd love to find a good spot to run my GT.

Damn, $500! Sweet deal! Those engines are plentiful and fairly cheap.

Very nice! I have a Turbo II body for my 1/10th scale also. ABC Hobby has some of the most beautiful realistic looking bodies. www.abchobby.com

Cleveland, Ohio?????? If so................

We have a onroad club and track near Toledo, Ohio. Our club name is the One-Eighth Racers, one of the oldest in the country, with a great permanet track having a 200 foot straight plus a sweeper. We run an electric program on some Saturdays, usually 6-8 GT8s and some sedans. GT8 lap times 25-30 seconds. We are not hardcore and just like to have fun.

We're having a pretty big race Aug 24-28. It's called the Great Lake Challenge. We have many major sponsors and raffle off some big ticket r/c items. Pre-registration for this GLC Race is recommended. 100+ entries(nitro and GT electric).

Everyone is welcome to attend any of our races. Most info is on our club site: http://www.racersoftoledo.com/

Fell free to pm me if there are any additional questions.

Default Lamborghini Track Day

Guys, the fact that I am going to miss this Sunday really stinks.. however I made up for it yesterday.

One of my clients invited me to Fontanta where Lamborgini was previewing the Aventador, for clients that had them on order. We also got a chance to drive the Gallardo Superleggera and Gallardo LP550-2 (rear wheel drive) around the track. My co-pilot has the video of me driving.. will post later when I get it.. for the time being here is a little taste of the Aventado:

Nice day of raqcing in Corona. we were especially lucky on the weather - unusually mild for mid July. Thanks to Charlie for a smooth day and congrats to Steve for taking back the 1/8th title. That boy was on a mission today.

Too tired to write more. See ya'll at HB in two weeks..

Thanks Charlie for putting on a great race for us to enjoy. Here's a video from the action in the 2nd heat of the GT8 race. Sorry I couldn't catch the Main but it seemed like we were short on Turn Marshalls.
