Kinda figured that, me too. Just don't want to see anyone kicking the guy when he's down. Some racers I could understand, but Tebo has been a pretty consistant good guy.

Hopefully he gets a good deal at the end of all this. I think we both/all agree on that.
See what some good weed will do for you! LOL

Yeah, I don't see him as being down... I see it as major opportunity for Tebo. I bet his biggest concern right now is choosing who he wants to work for next! You might see Tebo taking the place of, another factory driver somewhere. He is better than most of them, Consistently in the A-Main and mostly in the top 5 every time he races.

Hence your name. You software guys need something to 'take the edge off.' Learn something new everyday - that's my goal!

I have to wonder what happened with him and O'Donnell. He was a good PR guy for them. We will probably never know what happened. He DOES have a great record at the track, hopefully it'll pay off for him.

Yeah, non disclosure agreements suck! Prevents the guy from spilling the beans on what went wrong on the inside....

Maybe later some track talk will disclose what happened.

Quote from Neo Buggy regarding O'Donnell

"Promising young Kyosho America driver Taylor Peterson has announced his departure from the 'Red Army'. Speaking briefly to Taylor he expressed his gratefulness towards his former team-mates and Kyosho and is looking forward to joining O'Donnell."

Also, take sts 2008 world champion out of your signature, the champs have been run, and well the only people that took sts motors to the worlds used them to hold there pit mats down when it got windy

I dont see that... they have no buggy yet and if i was tebo i would really not want to be waiting on another buggy. I say kyosho/jammin are the only two people that he will goto.. atleast im really praying he will goto one of them two...

Tamiya would be smart to snatch him up. They have deep pockets, and they could use his experience to help develop their new 1/8th racers. He would also get them the exposure they need to be taken seriously.

even if they are paying them a salary plus benefits, I highly doubt that these guys are pulling 6 figures, and even if they are, that is not that much for a company.

Am I off base here?

how much do these guys make?
I saw an interview with Adam Drake about a year ago and the interviewer asked "How much can a driver make driving/playing with these toy cars"

Adam Drake's response was " A top driver can easily clear six figures a year."

That's good money for playing with toy cars

Kyosho? man Kyosho is stacked as is man, they got a ton of talent..

I know Mugen is small in comparison to most RC Companies, but how cool would it be for him to drive for mugen!

Mugen has some awesome drivers as well, Scott Hughes, Rhonda Skelton, but Tebo in addition to...whoa! way cool

Well, wherever he goes, I wish him well.

Sometimes after a long time you need a clean sheet and a fresh team to work with (Don't get me wrong i'm not at all saying that was the reason he left, just saying sometimes a clean sheet is a good thing to have).
