I was thinking of throwing a heatsink on, this is what I did on my velineon system, heatsink w/ some artic silver 5 thermal compound this thermal grease IMO is one of the best out there since I'm experienced w/ it fixing electronics, one thing I learned about heatsinks is for it to work full potential the heat needs to actually get to the heatsink and using this grease does that flawlessly, but it's just a tip if you really want temps to go down

First timed run with the new truck last night. I dropped 0.7 off my pb (set with scte 1.0) in the first race which was the third pack through the truck. also I was a little more consistant as well. Only problem I had was that when I tried to push really hard I was having traction rolling issues when I got on power mid corner. Either I need to try something with the setup or change my driving style. I am using the stock shock setup (not the 2 hole 55's) although I went 30 with the oil because it get hot here. I will try the 55's or drop the oil to 27.5 to see if it helps.

Casper / hacker07 - any input in the diff wobble? Should we be concerned?
As for temps and run times, I'm running the castle mmp and 3800kv combo and 1 back on a high bite clay track (~18mins30second) my temps were 90f and 135f Esc/ motor. Got to say I'm loving the setup, nice and cool. And my run times are great and I'm using sky lipos 5000 mah 20c so they aren't even the best batteries.
I don't even think I could deal with anymore power... But I'm still tempted to pick up the pro4hd 4300 when it comes out just to have a smooth sensored setup.

Here some pics of the girl after the first track day.
Mmp w/ 3800kv 4pole 1410 castle motor
Hitech 7945sh servo
Skylipo 5000mah 2s 20c
OrangeRx micro rx
Jconcepts Pressure point tires
Was averaging about 18min run times on each pack, pretty please with that result
Went through a set of tires in 1 practice day haha!!! Gonna have to pick up a "practice" tire. I'm thinking medium caliber might be a good all around practice tire. Any suggestions for a tire to use on indoor clay that I won't eat through in 1 day!!
I've tried barcodes and though they hook up great I basically run them down in 1 practice day.
Here are some pics:
Also anyone running a rear skid? I def ate through some plastic and aluminum...

Ryan,
Thanks for your reply, I am running the activ8 esc from novak and that comes with preset drag brake which I forgot to tone down so I will do that, also mesh was set up correctly...I have about a total of 10 packs on this truck so I am not sure if that can be called "broken in"
I will try the drag brake and will see what happen
Thanks again
Josh

I would try lowering ride height first, then stiffer sway bars, then stiffer springs and thicker oil. Reducing negative camber can also be a quick help.

The kit setup works really well. You may want to tweak it some but I think most will agree it is quite good in most conditions with the correct tires for you track.

We run the shocks emulsion style (no bladders) and basically no rebound. (a slight amount is fine). With stock pistons I would start with 27.5wt all around. Stock springs are a great starting point.

what is the difference in the inner vs outer hole on the servo arm?[/QUOTE]
Less of a positive 'expo' effect that the far outside hole gives you.. The inner hole makes steering more linear and direct, IMO.. That and the majority of the TLR factory guys run that, as well.
