Not anymore, they only came with plastic shocks in the past. But that changed for the T4 platform which features aluminium shockbodies as a standard.

For some the plastic shocks worked, for others not so much. Because of the super fine and also soft thread on the shock body they were a nightmare to build(they also leaked a lot of oil in many cases). IMHO the change to aluminium was much needed.

@-1,5° camber I measured exactly 47mm in the short position.
I have never seen the inner position in use anywhere but its about 6,6mm further inside...

Hope that helps

Picking up on that:

I just bought my first Yokomo and I'm super content on how it works on asphalt.
But I'll attend a big carpet race (ETS Pilot Race at the Nürburgring) in a month.
The race being in September, it'll be near impossible to get some decent carpet testing done beforehand.
Needless to say grip levels will be quite high on the usual ETS carpet and approved methods to get rid of traction roll on this car would be greatly appreciated

( traction roll was NEVER an issue with my xray, getting traction however was from time to time )

Regards,
David

Anyone have a base setup I can go off of for carpet high bite tracks? Just got a BD7 found a few setups off Yokomo's site but they are so different I don't know which direction to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. Running 17.5 rubber tire.

I think u can use the pins from tamiya, but also the org. yokos have "big" and small. So it might only fit the "big" side.

yes they do fit, but...... the pin that goes into the spool outdrive is too small, you end up wearing out the spool outdrives at an alarming rate, plus the massive amount of slop.

Roche ecs's and spool outdrives for the win !!!!

Having issues with the diff leaking. He car came with the new orings, but still leaking. This is my second time out with the car and I find myself rebuilding the diff every time I race.

Appears to be a common problem with manufacturing tollerances. I have 3 diffs, 2 leak with original black orings and 1 was perfect.

Of the 2 that leaked one doesn't leak with kyosho P5 orings, also the kyosho P5 orings provide less resistance on the shaft so you may need to go up in diff oil to compensate.

Agreed alloy shocks certainly are a step ahead. If you are going to buy the RS there are other brands of alloy shocks you could buy that maybe cheaper and work well.
