Default GT2.1 Pro Stock

Apologies for the silly question but how do you change the settings track-side on the Speed Passion GT2.1 Pro Stock Speed Controller. It isn't like the Tekin via laptop is it?

And can I assume this is the speedie you want if you run stock? (They seem to have quiet a few to choose from....)

regards

you cant change software without laptop but u can change settings with the program card that comes with the esc and yes the 2.1 is a great stock speedo

And does it have the timing option or boost of any kind.?We are racing on a small tight track. We run no lower than a 10.5 motor.I don't think I need a high end up to date speedo. We just run small club races.

I run the SP and the Tekin back to back and the Tekin generates different power then the SP. Both can be fast, but in my hands the SP is faster and my motor comes off about 20-30 deg cooler on every run.

Let me know if you have any questions and I can post my setup if anyone wants to try it.

SP software is 528 Stock and Tekin software is V203
I'd like to get your setup. Do you run 13.5 or 17.5? I'm looking for a good duo 1 and sp 3 17.5 and 13.5 setup. I run on medium sized asphalt tracks
thanks

the 1.1 has timing but does not have the latest boost features and yes it is alittle bigger than the 2.0 or 2.1

but you can still have Classic Brushed Mode,
wich is great for many application rather than racing.
it's fun.

This ESC with the SPv3 is magical. I'm curious to see how the Tekin feels with 208, but I don't think there's any way it can match the rip this thing has.

I can't seem to make this ESC play nice with my DUO or DUO2's, though. It seems like no matter what, they run hot and slow. Even with less physical timing on the motor. I prefer the DUO when I run a Tekin though.
