Same exact, but built for you. If you are happy with the shock oil and diff oil setup I say go for it. I would highly recommend going over it and put loctite on all of the metal on metal parts.

Yup they use the same parts just the M-Spec is put together for you. I personally like building kits because then I know it's put together right but that's me. If I were to buy the M-Spec I would take it apart and put it back together making sure it's put together right and have the setup I want.

+1 except I had no problem with shock pistons. The setup is near perfect for me and I had 0 issues with the quality of the build. As for taking it apart and putting it back together before running it...waste of time! It comes with full assembly instructions and it is very easy to work on.

That's a good question. I haven't really compared prices but when I went to buy, I couldn't find a kit so I bought an M-Spec. I've had the kit, and now have an M-Spec and will tell you they are identical!

i had the kit in the past also, its identical, its just assembled, i think the kit will eventually disappear, even if you strip it down and redo diffs and shocks and stuff to your liking its still faster to get on the track then building the kit

Plus the M-Spec comes with calibers in M2 compound. IMO better tires than crimefighters.

The standard kit has been shipped with Bowties, Crimefighters and Revolvers that I am aware of, they change frequently, the M-spec is just the latest packaging of the car.
