Hi guys, I need your help.

I've been using a Tekin 5.5 Gen2 engine with a speed controller Hobbywing xr pro and it was really fast!

Now I bought the new Tekin 5.0 Gen3 engine and with the same speed controller configuration this new engine is overly slow.

This is the configuration I used with the 5.5 Gen2: boost timing-5 turbo timing-28 engine timing-15.

Now I've put this new configuration but it still does not run like my old engine (gen2 5.5t): boost timing-17 turbo timing-40 engine timing-40

Someone can confirm to me if these new engines (Gen3) have less power than the old Gen2 or could be a manufacturing defect.

I always felt the Gen2 were faster also.

I just geared up a couple of teeth , and/or bump the timing up a notch.
